Teach Me Anything?"
If you'll indulge me for 3 minutes and 12 seconds, let me begin by telling you about who I used to be. I was a mess.
I grew up in a solid middle class family, the son of two teachers and business owners. They gave me love and support and frankly, I still managed to mess it all up!
- First Cigarette at age 10
- First Drink age 10
- Crashed Neighbors car when I was 14.
- Quit playing Football to Party
- Suspended 3 times for Fighting
- Couldn't Keep a Girlfriend
- Ran with the "wrong" Crowd...you get the idea
Believe it or not, the principal of my school even told me he would be surprised if I lived to be 30 - and the truth is I agreed with him!
It got so bad that between high school and college I was fired from a job that I loved for punching someone out!
And, in college it only got worse.
My drug use increased and my grades dropped. And what's worse, one semester I only attended a total of 5 classes. That is out of 180 possible classes to attend!
My relationships with my family became strained. I gained 30 pounds. I became deeply depressed.
So depressed that I went to the mental health clinic at school and bared my soul to the staff psychologist.
To my horror and surprise after I told my life story the psychologist sat wide eyed and open mouthed.
After a silent moment that seemed an eternity she said, "I can't help you. You need some serious psychotherapy."
Well that was the moment I knew I had to turn it all around!
I didn't need psychotherapy-I needed to take control and responsibility for my life!
That was the turning point.

It was also just at this time that my father gave me his copy of Napoleon Hill's classic Think and Grow Rich.
I started reading it and stayed up all night to finish it.
That was the beginning for me.

Since that day it has been my quest to study the great masters of Personal Development, Self Help, and Business. I have studied, learned from and worked with the great thinkers. My thirst for knowledge has been insatiable.
People like: Jim Rohn, Tony Robbins, Wayne Dyer, Og Mandino, Marc Victor Hanson, Jack Canfield, Deepak Chopra, Norman Vincent Peal, Robert Kiyosaki and others.

For the past 20 years I have studied the masters. I have learned their secrets and yes, success does indeed leave a trail. I have picked up that trail and put what I have learned into action.

I must tell you that I am consistently sought after for advice, counsel and motivation during the day.
Needless to say, that is where my biggest problem lies....
